About Us
Friends of the Industry Healing Together (FIHT) is a not-for-profit organization that was created by Insurance Industry Friends who saw an opportunity to band together to drive change and make a difference in the mental health crisis we are facing, by raising funds to distribute to local charities within our communities across the Country.
FIHT is unique in that we are a grassroots organization that is agile in its approach to providing support where it’s needed most as both macroeconomic and microeconomic forces drive ever-changing needs. By partnering with a variety of mental health organizations, engaging with an advisory board of health professionals, and listening to members of the industry and friends within our communities, we seek to understand the systemic causes that drive mental health challenges and focus efforts on bridging the gap between people, awareness, and resources by funding programs directly within the communities.

Our Mission
Our mission is to be an agile organization so we can provide support where and when it is needed most. We strive to bridge the gap between people, awareness, and services by funding resources within the community and partnering with local mental health organizations across Canada.
Our Vision
To live in a world where mental wellness is a priority for ourselves and others and nobody falls through the cracks.
